A Day of Wonder and Discovery: Kindergarten Visit to PRANI Pet Sanctuary
On 17th July, our little learners from Kindergarten stepped beyond their classrooms and into a delightful world of animals and nature during their visit to PRANI – The Pet Sanctuary.
For young children, there is something truly magical about seeing an animal up close—watching how it moves, listening to the sounds it makes and discovering that every living creature has its own unique way of life. The visit gave our children just such an experience, turning curiosity into joyful learning.
With bright eyes and endless questions, the children observed different animals and birds, learning about their food, habits, habitats and the ways in which they are cared for. What they may have previously seen only in books and pictures suddenly became real, creating moments of excitement, surprise and wonder.
The experience was also about something deeper than simply meeting animals. Through gentle interaction and observation, our little ones learnt the importance of kindness, compassion and respect for all living beings. They began to understand that animals need care, love and a safe environment just as we do.
Filled with new discoveries, happy conversations and memories to carry back to their classrooms, the visit to PRANI was a wonderful example of learning through experience.
At SIPS, we believe some of the most meaningful lessons begin with a child’s curiosity—and on this special day, nature became their classroom and every little encounter became a lesson to remember.
