Rainy days have a special way of bringing out the child in everyone, and at SRIGURU International Public School, our Rainy Day Celebration turned a cheerful monsoon morning into a delightful learning experience filled with laughter, colour and excitement.

Our young learners stepped out with their bright umbrellas and rainwear, ready to enjoy the beauty of the season. The school surroundings came alive with happy faces as the children experienced the refreshing weather, watched the raindrops around them and shared the simple joy of being outdoors with their friends.

Beyond all the fun, the celebration was also an opportunity for experiential learning. Children were encouraged to observe the changes that the rainy season brings to our surroundings and understand the importance of rain for plants, animals and everyday life. Conversations about clouds, water, nature and the monsoon helped transform their observations into meaningful learning.

Activities centred around the rainy season added creativity and enthusiasm to the day, while spending time together encouraged friendship, confidence and curiosity among the children.

At SIPS, we believe that some of the most memorable lessons happen beyond books and classrooms. Our Rainy Day Celebration was one such experience — a beautiful combination of learning, nature and childhood happiness, with every little raindrop bringing a much bigger smile. ☔💙
