Fun Hair Braiding Activity at SIPS
Our young learners at SIPS enthusiastically participated in a Fun Hair Braiding Activity, developing valuable practical life skills through an enjoyable hands-on learning experience.
The children carefully observed the braiding process and learned how separate strands are arranged and woven together to create a neat braid. As they practised each step, they developed patience, concentration and the confidence to try the task independently.
The activity strengthened their fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination and finger dexterity. It also gave the children an opportunity to express their creativity by experimenting with different patterns and styles.
One of the most heart-warming aspects of the session was seeing the children help and encourage one another. By sharing ideas and working together, they developed cooperation, empathy and a positive team spirit.
At SIPS, practical activities such as hair braiding make learning meaningful and enjoyable while preparing children to handle everyday tasks with greater confidence, creativity and independence.
